Banoffee pie...

So my friend and I thought we'd go for a run, maybe a bike ride and then play tennis...
However all we ended up doing was making this...

I see hope here.

Music
Means alot
Expresses much.
Listen
Read
Gain Perspective
Have hope. This is not a song for me. I do find it encouraging.
But I think other people need this.

You gotta Swim
Swim for your life
Swim for the music
That saves you
When you're not so sure you'll survive
You gotta swim
Swim when it hurts
The whole world is watching
You haven't come this far
To fall off the earth
The currents will pull you
Away from your love
Just keep your head above

I found a tidal wave
Begging to tear down the door
Memories like bullets
They fired at me from a gun
Cracking me open yeah
I swim to brighter days
Despite the absense of sun
Choking on salt water
I'm not giving in
I swim

You gotta swim
For nights that wont end
Swim for your families
Your lovers your sisters
And brothers your friends
Yeah you gotta swim
For wars without cause
Swim for the lost politicians
Who don't see their greed is a flaw
[ Swim lyrics from http://www.lyricsyoulove.com/ ]
The currents will pull us
Away from our love
Just keep your head above

I found a tidal wave
Begging to tear down the door
Memories like bullets
They fired at me from a gun
Cracking me open now
I swim to brighter days
Despite of the absense of sun
Choking on salt water
I'm not giving in
I'm not giving in
I swim

You gotta swim
Swim in the dark
There's an ocean to drift in
Feel the tide shifting away from the spark
Yeah you gotta swim
Don't let yourself sink
Just follow the horizon
I promise you it's not as far as you think
The currents will drag us away from our love
Just keep your head above
Just keep your head above
Swim
Just keep your head above
Swim, swim
Just keep your head above
Swim

London

I love living in London.

It may not be central but its london.
You can get to most places pretty quickly and directly, even at short notice.
You can eat so many different kinds of foods.
Go to the theatre.
Go walk down southbank

Get lost.

I was writing before about time and planning it. So I havent had a chance to reasses everything. But I do know how to plan time, It just seems to be filling up!

This week has been so chilled out, but busy too if that even makes sense. Many things have been crossed of the humongous to do list I have to do. So productivity has occurred.
I have seen friends. And I will see more. Lunch today, cinema tonight, baking tomorrow, coffee, lunch and weekend fun. This is summer. This is London. Why not?
I may not be having a proper holiday this year, but roadtrips even though they are short be joyful and fun. And trains, weddings and home.

London. Friends. Love it.
maybe the sun will even come out later...

Elizabethtown

This morning was weird. but good. Me and my roomie both woke up at the same time rediculously early. So we did what anyone does at who-knows-when-o'clock in the morning. Watched a movie.

Myself and Lucy watched the end of Elizabethtown, we started watching it a couple of weeks ago but fell asleep in the proccess so watched the last half of it.

In this half A guy is sent off on a roadtrip orchestrated by a girl, in the proccess he gets to travel accross america and deal with his dad's death. Accompanied by a very appropriate playlist and various stops along the way. The movie is real. well, when I say real its not just fluffy and your usual "chick flick" formulae. Its about a guys journey and the girl see's he needs to go on the journey and helps him out. Its more than this too.

this is something i'd really love to do, but for now i'll settle with making playlists.

more of that

I am going to listen to every single song released by bright eyes. in chronological order.

yes.

bright eyes.

Time. such a strange thing. How it passes. too much? not enough? to slow? too fast?
How do we fill it? With friends, food, fun, work, play, hobbies, jobs, music, the list is endless.

How do we CHoose what we fill it with? so many people so many things to do. We prioritise? Sometimes we need to stop to do that. Stop, take a step back and take stock of everything, how time works, how we caan best use our time. Who to invest in, what to achieve.
Sometimes I think, no i know I do too much. The only reason I can do it because of the strength God gives me. I do too much for a person with M.E. yes.
I get told I do too much for a person without M.E.

This is the way I have been made. I want to make my mark on this world. Not for my benefit. But for those around me. They matter to me. My health is important too, because if I don't watch it I know I won't be able to do anything that I can do. God uses the struggles. He calls on us to cling onto him and believe, have faith. This makes me excited when I find time to remember it. I need to be careful though. I get overexcited sometimes. I wish I could do more. But I know that I'm valued for who I am today, exactly, and tomorrow I will be valued for who I am then. Even If I struggle to get out of bed or am in a grumpy mood.

I'm not sure why I wrote this out but I'm excited again. And wanted to share it. Looking forwards to what is possible and can be done.

And now its time to get ready for cream tea funtimes.
may the force be with you.

And so this life is love unknown

Graduation came and went. The boys flat came and went.
Now after moving into the girls flat I find myself a little more settled in the "real" world after LST. With a lack of internet also I have really enjoyed not being able to log on to facebook or any other sites. Now I'm findind it ever so frustrating again! If it wasn't for my photo's I would probably delete my account...

So here I am again back in the library at LST. Except this time it is not for college work its for youthworker responsibilitys. The last couple of days I have been able to really get stuck in with what I'm going to be doing over the summer. LOVE IT.

This last week has been pretty awesome, fully of people, bbqing, making waffles, tennis, sun, amongst other things living OUT of college. next year looks to bring much joy and happiness.

last night I went to see ice age 3 in 3d AMAZING. go see it now.
Still adjusting but keeping busy.

Going home on sunday, must look up trains!!
